GROWTH CIRCLES HOLIDAY GIVING

This darkest month of the year, is also a time of giving, when we open our hearts and our wallets to shine a little more light out into the world.

Growth Circles was formed to inspire Bayside/MLK’s 6th-8th graders to think bigger and achieve more, encouraging students to move out of their comfort zones into life-expanding “growth circles.”

This year’s opportunity to think bigger is a spring break trip to New York City, where Bayside/MLK students will have an opportunity to experience Manhattan’s career and cultural opportunities. Students will experience Broadway theater,  learn about careers in finance at one of the world’s foremost Wall Street firms, tour colleges such as Columbia University, experience Central Park, and visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Statue of Liberty and the 9/11 Memorial. Their worldview will expand beyond their comfort zones. 

Bayside/MLK’s students are working hard to fundraise for the trip, with a goal of raising $20,000 for the trip. This month, thanks to a generous matching grant from Annikka Berridge, all donations to Growth Circles up to $10,000 will be doubled.
